Have you ever had a day where all you want to do is take your machine out for a ride? Ever get super frustrated that there is nobody home/available to help you load and strap down your ATV? I have had many of those days. My husband will go out to the shop and get caught up in a welding project on a Saturday afternoon, and all I want to do is go out for a ride!! After we installed the ATC on our ATV trailer for our side by side, I discovered that I no longer needed to be frustrated that nobody could help me strap up to leave! I could do it all by myself!
The ATC increases the ability to ride by yourself. The ATC takes away the stress usually involved, for me at least, of loading and strapping the machine down. Now? After ATCs are installed on my trailer? I'll happily load up, with one of my kids, clamp those tires down, and head for the trailhead! Now, you may be a woman who is fully capable of strapping down a trailer full of fun, but, I have never been that woman. I have struggled to make ratchet straps a part of my life for the last 11 years. I am over them when it comes to my fun!! (The suspension is really hard for me to compress. I'm not very big!) For work, okay...we have no choice...steel beams just don't work too well with the tire clamp, but that's okay. That is not what they were designed for. If it weren't for our welding shop, I would happily throw away all of the ratchet straps I find...just because they make me frustrated!
Having the ability to go for a ride by myself is my favorite thing about having ATCs on our trailer!
Now, I say, "Honey! I'm taking the Wildcat out for a ride! Be back in a few hours!" He may or may not look up from his welding project, because he is certain that I have had the proper tools to load on my own!
